On a site in a residential neighbourhood close to downtown, with relatively dense housing development, the concept was to build an Enclosed – Open house. Enclosed to the outside – open to the inside.

Designing the house around a central patio makes for a maximum of privacy with varied spaces in the interior and the exterior.

The application of practices of Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) and energy saving building methods together with the consideration of specifics of the tropical climate have played an important role in the realization of the project.
